We install one thing — and that focus is the point.
The Interlock® Lifetime Roofing System: interlocked aluminum panels made in Delta by Interlock Roofing Ltd. We are not a general roofing company that also offers metal. This system is all we do.
BC is hard on a roof in its own ways. On the coast it is wet for months: cedar softens and splits, and moss takes hold in asphalt granules. Winter storms and valley outflow winds lift loose edges. In the mountains and the interior there is snow load, and across much of the province a longer wildfire season. Aluminum absorbs nothing, is light on the framing, locks on four sides with the fasteners covered, and is available as a Class A fire-rated assembly. Every roof carries the manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty, which transfers once when you sell.

A warranty that transfers
The manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty covers material and finish for as long as the original purchaser owns the home, and transfers once. Workmanship is excluded. Read the terms and the exclusions before you sign; we'd rather you heard them from us.

Who installs Interlock metal roofs in British Columbia?

Is Interlock Metal Roofing (BC) Ltd. the same company as the manufacturer?
No. Interlock Roofing Ltd. manufactures the panels in Delta and issues the Guardian material warranty; we are the BC company that sells and installs them. The two work closely, and both are based in Delta.
Are roofers licensed in BC?
BC does not license roofing contractors provincially. What protects you is WorkSafeBC coverage (so an injury on your roof is not your liability), liability insurance, a municipal business licence where required, a written contract, and a warranty you can read. Ask for all of them.
Which parts of BC do you serve?

Does a metal roof help with wildfire risk?
It can be part of it. Class A is available on our roofs as a complete assembly (two layers of GAF VersaShield® over 12 mm (15/32-inch) plywood, per ASTM E108), and aluminum does not ignite. But embers get into gutters, vents and gaps at the roof edge, so the details around the roof matter as much as the panels.
